First one up! Left Chris in bed - let him sleep (he keeps telling me he needs it!). Went up eventually around 09:30 plenty of time for pain killers to kick in. Woke Chris up after my shower and kicked him out of bed. The boys didn't surface until much later. It gave us the opportunity to enjoy cranberry and nut toast in peace (a present from my absent mummy)!
Mid morning saw my first visitor at home since the op - a friend, S, who I haven't seen for ages. It was lovely to see her and catch up. A text followed from another friend wondering if I fancied a visit. Had chance for a chill before H came around 15:30 (with cake!). Again, nice to catch up with the real world.
Had a lovely roast for tea (thanks Tins) and then struggled to keep my eyes open for the rest of the evening! After waking up to the room spinning round I retired to bed!
